About the role

The role of an Administration Assistant is of key importance to the smooth running of the practice and care of its patients.  The successful person will be working around a busy team environment and is responsible for the following.

You duties will include:

  • Front desk reception duties including ‘meet and greet’ & registration of patients
  • Attending to incoming phone calls, faxes, and emails
  • Appointment booking, rescheduling, cancelling, and follow ups
  • Booking and billing consultations and appointments
  • Invoicing and receipting for patients
  • Responding to a broad range of patient or referral enquiries via phone & email. 
  • General administrative duties – (scanning, faxing, emailing)
  • Other administrative duties as required

To be considered for the role you will have the following:

  • Professional and courteous manner both on the telephone and face to face at all times.
  • A positive and bubbly attitude!
  • Must be well presented.
  • Must have a flexible, supportive and professional approach
  • Easy going and compassionate nature
  • Have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Previous demonstrated experience working within an Admin role
  • Experience working within a similar allied health role would be desirable but not required
