Our client is a highly respected not-for-profit residential aged care provider operating for state of the art aged care facilities across Tasmania. They are an innovative provider who is setting standards in the industry.
Due to continued growth, they have created a new role for an experienced Registered Nurse to work across Residential, Community and Independent living areas.
The Role
As the RN, your role will be to:
- Work as a Team Leader and provide leadership to the clinical team
- Conduct a comprehensive review of clients through appropriate assessments and complete appropriate documentation
- Care planning – including goal setting and evaluation
- Providing advanced clinical care such as medication management, palliative care, catheter management, stoma care, wound management, diabetic management, personal care, and chronic disease management
- Motivate, lead and supervise the care staff
- Complete reporting and documentation based on the requirement
Skills and Experience
- Current AHPRA Registration as an RN
- Minimum 12 months experience as an RN in Aged Care / Community Services preferred but not essential
- A hands-on approach to your role with a focus on customer service
- Sound clinical knowledge and ability to work autonomously
- Own transport and unrestricted drivers licence
- Full work rights in Australia
