They are undertaking a workforce planning and development project and a seeking a Clinical Educator to join in the Southern Highland region. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator, experienced in facilitation, who is passionate about supporting staff development and providing high-quality services to residents.
The Role
You will provide educational support which is essential in ensuring frontline staff has appropriate knowledge, skills, and support to enable them to contribute to continuous improvement, enhancing clinical practice for the delivery of safe and quality resident care.
- Undertake annual Training Needs Analysis and develops and education program
- Develop and/or source prepared training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff
- Schedule training sessions and compulsory education sessions ensuring optimal staff attendance
- Provide leadership in the implementation of new Learning & Development strategies
Skills & Experience
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
- Tertiary qualifications in Aged Care or Palliative Care nursing
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or working toward )
- Demonstrated experience in aged care environment or working knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument and Accreditation within the Aged Care Sector
- Experience in delivering clinical education to frontline staff
- Experience in developing online training packages
