The Company:
My client a leading aged care provider is currently sourcing Aged Care Professionals within Physiotherapy to join their team. Their working practices focuses across residential and community-based facilities and the company prides itself on providing ethical and caring physiotherapy services to the most venerable Aged Care sector.
Locations Include:
- Sydney – NSW – Southern Highlands
The Role:
- Conducting comprehensive resident assessments in order to develop person centred care plans.
- Developing, implementing and evaluating pain management clinics.
- Providing rehabilitation and falls prevention initiatives and services to residents and families.
- Deliver education sessions for all employees as required, in terms of chronic and acute injuries and annual training.
- The use of treatment techniques to relieve and manage main, restore movement and function and to prevent and reduce further chronic pain.
- Provide tailored programs for residents to help retrain posture, strengthen muscles and improve overall fitness.
- Participation in case conferencing with families and regularly report and document on changes in the resident’s condition.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualified Physiotherapist with full AHPRA registration
- Compliance driven with a meticulous approach to written paperwork
- Genuine passion with regards to all the components that make up Aged Care
- High standard of customer service skills with all stakeholders
